The principles of design.

The repetitions in this picture are the flowers and the houses. They all repeat to fill the space of the dress and they’re all different kinds of sizes. Some of the houses are aligned to the edge of the dress such as the one in the middle that fits the waist of the dress and also the left portion of the dress where the house is perfectly line up with the edge of the dress. The proximity looks amazing the all the flowers and houses/buildings near each other. Even though it’s not in proper order, it still looks stunning. The contrast between the houses/building, flowers and the background colour makes the dress pop out more, especially the flower and the background. The flowers add an extra touch of light colours that make the design of this imagery prettier.

This photo shows the 4 principles of graphic design. The contrast between the lines, the words, the shapes and the eye is very nice. The contrast looks really good too since it only used different shades such as white, grey, dark grey and black; it does though have a little colour in which the eye is silver. There’s repetition of the triangles that are on all of the sides of the diamond. The alignment is what makes this picture really pop. The middle of the diamond shape is also aligned to the pupil of the eye and so is the ‘x’ that is very faint. The proximity of this picture is really wonderful too. All of the shapes and words are close to the eye and it’s very neat so it’s appealing to the eye.
For this picture, repetition can be seen throughout the pineapple. The same shape and use of colours were repeated to create the pineapple. The shape that also creates the leaves is also repeated but each one is tweaked so it looks more of a pineapple.  The contrast of the colours creates a pretty look that makes the pineapple better.   Despite using only 4 different colours, 2 for each part, it makes it have the illusion of it being 3 dimensional. The alignment of the pineapple’s body (the orange part) makes the picture pop up more because it’s very pleasing. And the alignment isn’t vertical but is rather diagonal which looks similar to a real pineapple. The pineapple’s proximity is even, especially the orange part. The leaves are kind all over the place but you could tell that the proximity is even.

We had to pick out 3 different pictures and how they have some of the principles of design.
