I've done a fair bit of lino printing over the past few years, but lately I have been using this process more and more. I love this way of working and I feel it suits my style of illustrations. Here is a character I created and cut into lino. I'm very happy with the outcome and will continue using lino within my work.
This design didnt take me too long to draw, these characters come very natural to me. I freehanded my character with a whiteboard marker (easy to fix early mistakes and cleans off easily afterwards). Once I was happy with my design I cut into the lino, it only took me an hour or two from start to finish.
