Each year, Brighton Festival brings together some of the most exciting and expressive artists from all over the world.
In 2011, the Festival was themed around the political unrest in Burma. Aung San Suu Kyi – a Burmese political activist – was appointed as the Festival’s guest director and in honour of this I designed a logotype and set of symbols inspired by the shapes of the Burmese alphabet.
