Each cube represents a found sound.
By graphing the average frequency of sound with its loudness, and then multiplying the two values together to make the z-axis, I was able to create a 3D composite of a sound in openSCAD.
The cubes were then 3D printed on a RepRap.
From left to right, the sculptures correspond with the following sounds:
