My thesis display covered a non – profit organization The Citizens Archive of Pakistan. It focuses on the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Pakistan. I designed a book as one of the promotional campaign elements.
The medium of the interviews of the podcasts that had been uploaded on soundcloud by the organization has been compiled into a book, as I believed it would grab a much appropriate and wide range of attention than a platform like soundcloud where people visit the site for music rather than listening to historical podcasts. Furthermore having a classy layout that supports and represents the project and shows the images of the particular personality would do justice to the faces and stories of the people being featured in it.
The organization is one of the most important source that collects and preserves oral histories i.e the interviews of the citizens making an impact for our country, has records, audios, videos and documentations of the events of minorities in Pakistan and a long list of other projects promoting our cultural heritage.
