This is the start of what I plan to be a series of Transformers-based pieces made around the idea of the planet Cybertron as a Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland a la Mad Max or Fallout, and its remaining inhabitants as Wasteland-Dwellers. This idea was born from the Transfromers lore itself, where after the Great War Cybertron is said to be left barren, ruined and nearly lifeless, in other words, a textbook Post-Apocalyptic setting.
I've kicked off the series with a character who would not only probably fit right into the Wasteland setting, but is also well known for staying behind on Cybertron after the War: the Decepticon lieutenant and mad scientist, SHOCKWAVE, here depicted as a battle-scarred, self-styled wasteland overlord, taking any other remaining Decepticons under his command and keeping one eye out (I couldn't resist, I'm sorry) for any troublesome Autobot resistance that may emerge from the ruined landscape.
