The Art of Place. Farm and Fields

Larry Grob The Art of Place Farm and Fields
Recently, while artist-in-residence at Land's Sake Farm in Weston, I set out to chronicle the fast moving New England growing season. And fast it was. Blink, and you can miss the strawberries. But it's also a place to slow down. When the old farm stand sign urges you to stop by and 'pick your own', it's a gift you shouldn't refuse. To discover this place as an artist just adds to the pleasure...the pleasure of taking time to look. Really look. And feel the rhythms pulsing along.

My pastels and prints depict a natural world that is thoughtfully observed and sustainably seen. I hope those who view the work will feel similarly. And tread lightly.
