After a long summer of photographing a family of osprey on the banks of the Rideau River, I managed to capture this shot of an osprey soaring through the air with his wings spread wide and his piercing yellow eyes fixated on his target.  The osprey's beautiful colouring on his wings, head and body are highlighted in the bright blue sky.   http://www.jhcphoto.ca
