A collection which contrasts the media we often consume and the striking masking it does to our current events. I used James Bond movie titles and posters to juxtapose it to the inequalities. Often it seems as if politics, is often masked and neglected and we are often given "Bread and circuses". We consume movies which are an escapism from world issues- even if the media itself references these problems we often turn a blind eye. 

 

The subjects are in order; Casino Royale and comparing to the 1% and the increasing unbalanced distribution of wealth among classes, Diamonds are forever and the blood diamond situation in Sierra Leone yet everyone still thinks Diamonds are beautiful and ignore the wars it funds,  Live and Let Die to amplify the events of police brutality and stereotypes that harm and discriminate against social groups, From Russia with love and the blatant anti-homophobia laws, and For your eyes only and the issues with the NSA.
