This design was based off of an old Carmen Sandiego comic book cover. I did the illustration by hand, scanned it in, then colored it in & compiled all the elements in Photoshop. I also guest hosted this show!

Flyer for show. Took & edted photo. For birthday show, wanted to do something very colorful; once balloons were in found it difficult to read information with all the bright colors so toned the colors down.
Facebook header image for event. Wanted to keep with vintage 3-D aesthetic of the flyer, but this one I liked better than the flyer because of the background I used.
I wanted to make a more expressionist and dynamic design, while also keeping the color scheme simple and punchy. The illustration is definitely more impressionist and experimental than ones I've done in the past and even now, but it remains one of my favorites.
