Screen printing is one of my most favorite mediums. The process requires deep concentration while offers very visceral experience. For me its an act of active meditation - where creativity flows not only from the mind, but rather through my hands.

First five prints were printed as a part of a series. I have been collecting various slogans, titles or just overheard phrases, that were later combined with some imagery for the prints. Thus, the odd relationship between the title and the picture have created some new, perhaps, nonsensical meaning. It's produced a new story. The idea of nonsense is something I'm trying to explore here - how humans attempt to cling to meaning and where the fine line for "making sense" lays. Although the prints allow and encourage the viewer to come to one's own answer.

The series was exhibited during Bushwick Open Studios in the Spring 2014.
