A few years ago while in Paris, I photographed a series of photos of beautiful doors that I came across.  These illustrations are based on those photos and draw on their beautiful architectural shapes and geometry.  I also really enjoyed playing with different color palettes that accentuate the various shapes.

Following my Paris Door series, I decided to extend the series to include doors form neighborhoods in the D.C. area.  These are my Logan Circle Doors and they are the beginning of this extended series.
