An accidental visitor

The editorial illustration is for a warm story about a girl who becomes a new member of the main character’s family. The people who surround the main character view this accidental visitor as troublemaker. However, as the time passed, she built up a close relationship with the girl. This is the first time that the main character experienced the true happiness and magnificent weight of love. I use the black cat to symbolize the accidental visitor because she possesses the conflicting images of both fortune and misfortune. Moreover, the cat is the best model to illustrate the girl’s position between the main character and the people connected in the whole story.
