CLIENT: Personal

 

GOAL: The goal was to combine photography and doodling to create a fun and dynamic poster that promotes dance in Calgary.

 

DESIGN PROCESS: I captured my brother’s movement during a photoshoot in downtown Calgary. The ground was a little distracting originally so I photo-manipulated a less distracting, grungier concrete floor. The next step was to dull the background out a bit to emphasize and draw focus towards the subject. Colourful, glowing light trails were added to accentuate the movement and to add to the dynamic look I was going for. Lastly I added some perspective grid lines to help add depth and dimension to the piece.
