MLK Days of Dialogue Branding

The first round of logos that I sent to the MLKDOD committee for review in June 2015.
The finalized logo, after the committee voted to synthesize two of the logos I presented into one. The final result is a clean, clear, visual cue that encapsulates the essence of UW's MLK Days of Dialogue.
The committee asked me to develop 3-4 different themes for the posters, social media imagery and day-of signage. Above are the four themes I created. During a meeting in August, the committee voted on themes, and selected one to be refined and finalized.
The final theme, titled, "Different Strokes," showcases various brightly-colored strokes, each representing the different ideas and perspectives that several indivudals may offer. When combined, the colors fuse to create a new color, representative of how different perspectives can offer up a new way of looking at a problem, or an innovation that has not yet been thought up. At the center of these strokes, of course, is the MLKDOD logo, which is placed at the center to show how the Days of Dialogue is truly a forum that fosters new combinations of different strokes - a unique week at UW where students can engage and socialize with eachother to be inspired and cook up new approaches to social justice issues.
The save the date poster, the first set of materials sent out to inform students, faculty and staff of when MLK DOD will take place for 2016.

A stamp I created to be placed on the back of the stickers we sent out.
The sticker, a 4"x4" design, that we printed through Sticker Giant.
