This interpretive project was done while employed at Form:Media. It was a Parks Canada installation at their Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse on Newfoundland.
This exhibit was made up of several different panel materials, all linked together graphically to create a complete story.
I designed this floor mat from a rough concept. It needed visual reinforcement so I developed icons to accompany seasonal activities. It turned out to be one of the best interpretive pieces in the exhibit.
I typeset text, and created cut lines for this custom bench. The arrangement of the copy needed to allow people to follow and easily interpret the info.
I designed interactive panels such as this overlay graphic that was installed on top of of an audio device. The red dots are buttons that were used to trigger musical compositions when pressed.
I designed a timeline illustrating the development of the park.
