The proposal is to regenerate the south Greenwich Peninsula. The area is one of the fewest left without any human intervention. The proposed pier is connecting the wild land creating a place, where visitors of the O2 Arena and workers from offices situated nearby can appreciate nature, sounds of the river Thames and views of docklands and Canary Wharf. The viewing platforms are situated on different levels. Instead of stairs - ramps will be provided.
The project was proposed to the local council during the course at Chelsea College of Art & Design in 2009.
