All about smoke
Its all begin when I start using smoke brush to do the abstract… when I accidently draw 2 smoke brush, I realize its look like a ghost.. its all about “what I think they are”… then make that a starter of smoke concept storyline.. the “ghost” smoke its hard to describe cause its way to simple…just a title… no storyline and not too much detail at all… like no face… no hand. Just deep mind conclusion/imagination can make its like a ghost character..
I just use a few colour cause I duwan to lose the detail of smoke ( black line ).. it’s the reason to make my subject/title clear and easy u all to understand ( title and the smoke that I try to describe “what its be” )… seriously white background easy to see the detail of smoke and easy to choose ”what its can be”. .. As u can see the black background ( HELP ) I cant blend with colour to much… its will loose too much detail/character cause smoke in white colour are too thick and hard to see…
For example 1 smoke can be a leg/face/hand/cap or something u can imagine “what its can be”.. Creativity and high imagination can make the smoke to be a storyline..and I know someone of u all can make much better than me.. I just a beginner in this art….thats why I post this art here to improve myself and hear all comment whatever is bad or good
For “She” portrait I use 17 layer of smoke brushes… just 1 smoke I have to rotate,free transform and warp = it is the right sholder/”baju kurung”…
For the “HELP” and “love suck”.. some of the smokes its not in full shape.... in the smoke.. I have to look more deep (imagination)… sometimes 1 smoke, I just use ¼ of its detail.. cause I just want only the detail “what its can be”… and have to erase the “what its cant be” smoke…..
