Final Boss - Character Design Project

Sometimes you come across games with impossible final levels. The boss somehow gets stronger every time you land a punch and their minions end up killing you. You can't save so you have to start all over again. You know the game. 
In this game, we have a desert witch and her snake who will have none of what you're attempting to throw at her. 
Stage 1: Entrance into the desert cave, there standing in the back is the witch. She stands with a looming presence, everything seems to shake as you approach her. You look at her, snake holding her cloak shut, red eyes peering through the darkness of her hood. Suddenly sand starts to swirl around her and is hurled at you. It takes the shape of animals or just whips you around. The battle as started. 
Stage 2: You have somehow pissed the witch off enough to make her take off her cape. It seems she wants to actually fight. Her snake slithers down to the ground and suddenly grows 3x its regular size. After taking off her cloak, it appears she only has one hand, and it holds the wind scepter. Sand starts to twist around, that is her arm. Now the fight has escalated to a 1 on 1 fight. She doesn't want you out now, she wants you dead. 
Stage 3: Amazing, you were able to dodge the witch's one on one attacks from her scepter, sand arm, and even her snake. You must be on your last legs now. After knocking her down, she gets up and starts to chant a spell. The snake's eyes flicker and suddenly the witch is riding on top of the snake's head. Sand swirls around the snakes head, protecting the witch who is also surrounded by poisonous spikes. Is there any chance of landing a hit? After observing the fight, you discover that the sand recedes and the spikes lower, the witch is vulnerable. Now is the time to attack or die trying. 
Battle Location: The fight takes place in a desert cave with a couple holes that let sunlight in but its too high to escape from. You have to fight to the end. While using the duo characters (x) you find yourself in a bind. Looks like its time to punch the witch down, if that's even possible.
