"In flux" is an experiment in figure-ground relationships using text. Based on the quote by Jenny Holzer, "Ensure that your life stays in flux."

 

In addition to playing with the scale and rotation of letters to make them readable but abstract, a lot of work went into trying to flow shapes into one another in adjacent boxes. This design choice was to make each box interesting on its own while also adding to the texture of the overall design.
