Experiements of type
The brief required a series of compositions expressing a range of emotive and fundamental design principles. Solely composed with only the assistance of the photocopier, and crafted with cut and paste. The strength of black and white (contrast) and the arrangement within its square page are the focus. The design principles including scale, rotation, layering, motion, movement and visual flow as illustrated here are central to good design.
