My work ties to the theme 'skin' as I have used different animals to show the different colors and textures of the different species. The theme can be shown, as there are only animals in my work and they are different as they all show different colors. I used green and blue paint as a background because I wanted the blue to be the indication of winter animals (polar bears, huskies, arctic fox, etc.) and green for other animals (cheetah, grizzly bears, dogs, etc.). At the bottom I have used the advanced collage technique by placing huskies with the background being iced trees. I found that combining the collage together to be the most diffucult, I didn't know how to connect all the images together. I mostly enjoyed painting with wax, it was the most enjoyable part, as I liked to use the heatgun after and blend the colors together.
