Last fall, I was asked by IDW to create a variant cover for their excellent Starfleet Academy series. Trek is in my blood, so how could I refuese? This series features two different eras of students with overlapping themes: Uhura from her days in the academy, as well as T'laan, a Vulcan who is a current student.
