The blending option that I used to combine the fabric to the edit of the double exposure image works nicely with the soft maroon colour and with the white background. I think that the subtle amount of fabric showing against the background gives it texture without being too busy so that it does not take the attention off the image. I like the colour used because for a trendy fashion magazine, personally I think that the softer colours work better rather than vibrant colours. Furthermore the maroon colour looks stylish and aesthetic with this image.
