The prompt was to create a pattern from a legend or folklore. I based mine on a story about a poor family who had no knowledge of what a mirror was. Using symbolisms in the story such as the moon, a comb, and a reflection of a person in a circular mirror, I created the graphic on the bottom as my basis for the pattern. Alongside other simple renditions of the moon at different times of the night, an overlapping pattern emerged.

The project was very open ended as long as photography was involved. I decided to create my own brand of Antisins, cures to humans flaws. I based the palette and design on the origin story of Adam and Eve who succumbed to the snake and ate the apple. That is why it shows a snake taking form of an apple and an S, for sin. To the right are bottle labels that would signify different sins it combats. In order from top to bottom: a grape for sloth, cherry for lust, kiwi for envy.

Using my grandmother's recipe, I made her amazing tomato noodles and documented the process as well as all the ingredients. The reselt is an on-the-go recipe book so anyone can experience eating her noodles.
