This project is an infographic video that seeks to explain Judith Butler's "Theory of Gender Performativity", using motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
The "Theory of Gender Performativity" is a concept proposed by renowned feminist philosopher Judith Butler that is of importance in modern feminist theory. I have attempted to simplify this complex theory by using examples that are understandable across different social contexts and makes the viewers question, like Judith Butler did, "Should gender exist?"
