This illustration centers around the untimely death of two lovers adapted from Shakespeare most popular play, "Romeo and Juliet" I want to convey that gut wrenching feeling of loosing a lover to death, by roughening up the heart shape in red which usually ought to be smoothed out, the piercing of the dagger with droplets of blood dripping, depicts a cruel death by searing the heart perhaps with a rusted dagger, against a black background to denote agony and sorrow.
