post-colonial tea time
To discuss ideas of post-colonialism, sometimes we need to define the terms used. This project attempts to do so using the vernacular of ISOTYPES (International System Of TYpographic Picture Education), developed by Otto Neurath in the early 20th century as a means of showing social, historic, and technical connections using a consistent visual form.

Through the use of ISOTYPES, all unique cultural information discussed in each post-colonial term is minimized to a homogenized format, much like the unique cultural aspects of each colony were quashed by early colonial rule.

To further drive the idea of colonialism, all terms are presented individually as tea flavors, opening additional opportunities for symbolic interpretation and meaning.
