Facts about Horse Racing:
Because they are trained while they are still young and not full-grown their bones get damaged. If they aren’t damaged enough they will during many races in an unnatural way of running on hard ground. Because of stress during every training and every race, most of them get stomach ulcer and die of cancer. Those who don’t die because of sickness mostly will get shot, if they aren’t able to win anymore.
The commercial for PETA campaign against Horse Racing using the Toy Horse as a metaphor of the Racing Horse. It shows the every day struggle of Racing Horses in every race. They are treated like toys. Distressed until they die
or get shot. It is a fact that every 10th Racing Horse gets killed, and every 3rd suffers badly from racing injuries.
