I wanted to make the word “spark” by writing it in the air and letting my camera exposure open for 15 seconds. I wanted to do this in the night time to get a very bold firey color and to do as less of image manipulating as possible. The only exception was that i only had 5 sparklers to test it out. So to first try it out, I worded out the image in the air with my cellphone screen, and some less cool looking fireworks. Im gonna be honest, it was a bit tough to get the completed word done clean and sharp. The last two exposures were the cleanest ones and eventually jumped on the computer and let the magic happen. When i got it on the computer All I did was turn it into a poster and give it a depth of field by expanding the border of the image to make the piece come alive.
