Domestic Violence Ad Campaign

This project was an art direction client project. With this project, I had to work with a group of students to come up with the final product. The client was Zonta Club of Charleston, which is a club that is against domestic violence here in Charleston. We were asked to create posters that could be put up on college campuses to help students realize the signs of a domestic violence victim and how to help them. This concept came from the five signs of abuse. So my team and I decided to use the five fingers of a hand as a way for people to remember them. Our target audience was students like us and college students in the Charleston area. The tone of this project was serious with a bold feel to help the college students relate to them. I was in charge of gathering the information that was needed and helping with any work that wasn’t getting done. That quickly turned me into the art director of the group. I was a great leader and we came out with a great product for the Zonta Club. These posters are in use by the Zonta Club of Charleston.
