For the Seattle Design Festival 2015 project, the slogan “Cyan & Magenta & Yellow & Black & Green“ was used as the overall
concept. It references the CMYK color model that designers use and connects it with environmentalism. The layout of the slogan
is also a reference to the famous “John & Paul & Ringo & George” t-shirt design created by Experimental Jetset. This was done to
pay homage to classic designs and help the viewers remember them. The close up image of the leaf and the consistent use of its
texture was also used to represent the overall theme and concept of environmentalism.
