San Francisco Film Museum
is a re-branding concept of the San Francisco Film Museum, a volunteer run organization composed of individuals who share a passion for film. It is a collection of artists, designers, writers, and filmmakers. Currently existing as an online museum, the SFFM's goal is to find a location in which to build a physical museum that allows it to more actively showcase Bay Area based films and theaters, honor the diverse individuals who contribute to Bay Area film making, and engage the present film community. With an brand that is imbedded deeply into history, I chose to represent the SFFM with the iconic San Francisco orange and a flexible modern mark that would appeal to a young audience and allow the museum to explore the Bay Area's cinematic past without ever feeling dated.
