I'm really excited about my latest body of work 'Beautiful Undead'. I've always been fascinated by vampires — I think it all began from the age of 10, reading Christopher Pike novels. There have since been incredible trends in the vampire movement and it seems that with the dawn of vampire-themed movies and tv shows, the 'undead' do walk among us now in Pop-culture, infiltrating our daily lives.
I created my collection 'Beautiful Undead' with the desire to put a spin on the conventional vampire. Here, I am depicting these beautiful monsters in all of their glory and dark loneliness — their human components and shortcomings.
