World population and food need are constantly growing,
cities are becoming every day more crowded;
it became essential to act in local scale to find the energies
that can support these trends.
The project explores futures scenarios of urban cultivation in order to support the research of
LIED, Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Énergies de Demain.
Les potagers de cour looks at Parisian internal courts as a setting for the cultivation of small plants hosted in vertical greenhouses: 20 meters high structures that can host 100 tiers each, offering 40m2 of cultivable land.
The residents of the court will have a direct access to the products while an external company will be in charge of the cultivation of the crops.
