Practicing What I Preach

This painting was created after a time of mourning the loss of a very influential woman in my life, my Grandmother. The image that kept naturally coming to my mind whenever I would try to create was this large hole in my chest. I needed to create, heal and honor the woman who has inspired so much of who I am today. The words are from the eulogy, my brother Connor Walsh read at my Grandmother's funeral.

Sometimes we need to create, for the sake of creating.
