Upaya is a conceptual brand of herbal remedies for everyday ailments such as common cold, cough, joint pains, acne, etc. The ingredients of these remedial recipes are commonly found in Indian households, and used in cooking but have no place in an American or a European kitchen. Upaya, thus, packages small quantities of these ingredients to suffice a few uses and avoid overstocking or wastage. The logo is derived from a mix of the alchemic symbols for the three doshas or biological energies that ayurveda considers responsible for physical characteristics in people. The package is a simple, lightweight, easy to use and carry bag with an elegant pattern composed from the logo.
