Rose Levy Beranbaum’s best selling The Cake Bible has not had a make-over since it was released in 1988.

For my advanced Visual Communications class, I redesigned the dust jacket. 

I baked the cake, decorated it, and did the photo shoot.

I also used photos of cakes I baked and decorated as part of my training as a pastry chef. 

 

This updated cover is fresh and looks delicious enough to want to take a bite!
