We've Always Referred to Them as Noodles
This body of work is a combination of both sculpture and painting that explores the topic of ambiguous perceptibility. Both the sculptures and the paintings were made simultaneously; they are in conversation with each other just as the artists are. Depicting unconventional shapes and forms, this group of work gives the viewer a chance to enter a world of abstract objects and bright colors. With this being said, the intention of this installation is to create an environment that gives the space an otherworldly atmosphere. Refraining from portraying any identifiable objects, these works leave themselves open ended, allowing for multiple interpretations. The soft objects and bright colors invite the audience to a blissful space to consider entities that are normally unseen in our world.
