The creative directors at Brave Frontier approached me to create a loopable theme for their multi-million player game. After playing & conversing we wanted to go in a direction that was both classical & futuristic. We wanted to instill emotions of wonder & fantasy in our players. I started by composing then recording on the grand piano, improvising around a tailor-made chord progression that portrayed Brave Frontier, and subsequently sound designed to create the atmosphere that would accompany it. This was done by harmonizing with various synthesizers & synthetic design elements, and with carefully crafted convolution & digital effect processing. The result, a beautiful fusion of the past & future designed for the present.
