The first rough for the client. The circle of sandbags with cannons was inaccurate so had to be dropped.

Ink detail 1: When drawing architecture, I try to avoid using a ruler as much as possible as it tends to make the drawing stiff and technical- looking. The major lines are drawn with a ruler, of course!

Ink deatil 2: It was tricky getting photo reference for this view. I referred to several pictures from different angles.

The fireworks really did happen on the tuesday night and were set off by children.

Full- scale artwork. Again, many different photos were used for reference. The tram lines were especially tricky in terms of sourcing images. Thanks for Looking!
