Theo's Dissertation Poster
For a friend, Theo's, 23rd Birthday, I joked with him that I would have his recently finished dissertation made into a poster for him as a huge wall of text, but with my face subtly made up from the text. From there, the joke became an idea, which gradually snowballed into the final image. The image itself is of myself, Theo, and two very close friends of ours. Throughout 2016 we've spent a lot more time together for various reasons, and have all witnessed or experienced the stresses, ups, and downs of Uni living, and have helped each other through various issues, projects, or have just been there for moral support. I figured I could represent this in the poster by having us all behind the text, symbolising how behind all the masses of work, we were there as a group of friends to help each other in whatever way we could.
