Night Fatality

This painting came to life entirely from the imagination. Sort of a "brother piece" to the Wolf Study, Night Fatality is an large-scale and very ominous painting depicting a sex-legged animal closely representing a wolf. It is night time, and the environment is an excruciatingly dark place, with the only source of light coming from the lantern of the weary traveler. Meant to be a corresponding painting that has sequence to the previous wolf painting, instead, it branched off and became its own subject. I have enjoyed working with different components and arranging them on the canvas in a way that makes it look realistic in terms of light and atmosphere.
