Monumental Cucumbet (2016)
When asked to take a photograph of 3-dimensional English alphabets, food was one of the preferred medium.
Having gone to a Thai school, one of the mandatory classes was cooking. I was taught to carve flowers from cucumbers and used them as containers for side dishes. With this nostalgia of Thai culture, I decided to go back to my childhood experience of fruit carving, producing a Cucumbet as my final piece.
