Student Goldpack: packaging for 5 doughnuts
Decodoughs is designed to promote and sell five fresh ringdoughnuts across mainstream retail outlets in South Africa. The design of my packaging appeal to all fivesenses by revealing a glimpse of what to expect from the specific product, alsoby touching it the consumer will engage with the design which appeals to thefeeling of happiness and excitement. Each pack of Decodoughsinclude five ring doughnuts, five satchels of different colour icing sugar(pink, purple, white, blue and yellow) and also decorations (100’s and 1000’s, sprinkles, hearts, flowers, and silver balls). The consumerinteracts with the product when purchased by cutting out the already perforateddolls and connecting the two ends with one another. Then placing it in the centre of the doughnutwill allow the decoration of the so called dress or further extension of thedoll. Thus having fun playing and then eating.
A pentagonal shapebox compliments the design and idea of adding meaningful decorations forthe specific target market: girls age 4 to 7 years.
