The images within this series explore the theme of frustration and fragility that comes with ageing through the experiences of my Nan, Janet. The inevitability of growing old comes to us all at one stage, though we will witness others grow old before that time comes.

As the human body ages it becomes frailer and less able that once before, for some the restrictions become challenging and can impact the individual not only physically but mentally. 

It is hard to witness the ones we love suffer and struggle to be as they once were, but it is important to still love and respect every inch of that person despite the challenges that may be faced.
