Development of Notation System
Inspired by geometric tile patterns, I explored and developed a grid system to be used in place of the staff used in established notation systems. From the grid came the module and from the module came the notation.
Thesis Trailers
The first video demonstrates the notation system with an attempt to exclude any dance footage. The second video addressed cultural perspectives using dance footage and a typographic narrative.
