I was listening to the radio recently and as I was driving, I began noticing that there was a lot of music made by Toronto artists. Drake, Roy Woods, The Weeknd, in that order went on the radio. I was actually a bit amazed and it gave me a little inspiration to make something Toronto related. I got home, photoshop happened and started thinking and this is what I came up.

Challenge/Scope
To combine the notion of music and Toronto to create a logo.

Creative Solution
 To begin, I first started googling Toronto. As expected, almost all the results were the Toronto skyline so I thought it was only correct to somehow incorporate it within the project. After this portion I really had a hard time thinking what next. I started off trying to make a mic using the CN tower, but it just looked really awkward. I started overthinking so I went to relax. I googled music and a result showed up with a soundwave and I thought, wow that's pretty interesting!! The design was very simple, but it looked super clean so I went with it.

Executing the Solution
It wasn't really hard to make soundwaves out of rectangles but it was tedious work to imitate it in the shape of the Toronto skyline. Switching back and forth but in the end I was very happy with the results.
