A web-based installation

This was a form of „installation art” based on internet platforms, and used a 3D model`s head and the image of a rat eating its mind to put together a complex paradoxal image.

The neutral aspect of the subject is ment to stimulate narcisism in its fine notes, and make the viewer mildly identify with it, or question it. Its simple/roough 3d polished features are also ment to reduce discussions about its identity and just leave a faint impression in the minds of the viewers. Also the grey tones are eliminating any discussions regarding any affiliations.

The rat can become anything from forms of obsession to the idea of snitching, spying, betrayal etc.Things that actually populate the minds of mostly everyone in the world. It alsocontains a hint to „1984”,the book by George Orwell…

So my basic idea was to start creating a „mental virus” and „deploy” it into the „public”. and just see what happends…Since it had no actual „vector”, or was not intended to „do anything”, I was just curious about the replies I could get from „out there”.
