At Russell Newman, I created this custom repeating design to be printed on fabric and then sewn into garments, usually pajamas.  Russell Newman is a clothing manufacturer who supplies labels such as Laura Ashley and Tommy Hilfiger.   It is important for the design to repeat without there being an obvious top or bottom, which allows for more usable area to be cut from the printed fabric.
